  • Just 8 more bricks in the Wall. Can't take a breath without hearing about another instance. Can't swing a dead cat without running into yet another pile of corrupt slime gushing from out of this Orange felonious regime. It's not any sort of administration; as someone else in here said, it's an Orange Crime Syndicate.

"Greene responded that Trump was 'coming after me hard to make an example to scare all the other Republicans before next weeks vote to release the Epstein files. It’s astonishing really how hard he’s fighting to stop the Epstein files from coming out that he actually goes to this level…. I have supported President Trump with too much of my precious time, too much of my own money, and fought harder for him even when almost all other Republicans turned their back and denounced him. But I don’t worship or serve Donald Trump.'”

Interesting phrasing! Especially for someone who "supported" with money, "precious" time and "fought harder" than those who saw his true colors.

One doesn't use words like "worship" or "serve" unless they know that is exactly what is expected. Even if nothing of the sort should ever be expected in a democracy. The one who should be "serving" is the elected official. Period! They are elected to serve.
  • •Home Depot fell short of third-quarter earnings estimates, its third straight miss, and cut its full-year profit outlook.

•The company said slow consumer spending and a weaker housing market have made home improvement demand worse than it expected.

It seems like the "good weeks" are getting fewer.

Medicare Part B premiums are up over 10% for 2026.
  • September jobs report is expected to be soft, even at an upwardly revised 50,000 jobs added.

Ya, Maybe Home Depot should say the real reason they're struggling. A large percent of their construction clientele are in hiding or being deported. I know of a local restaurant that is staying closed some days because of it. We all agree, get out the criminals but the folks that have been here 10-20 years just trying to better their lives, c'mon. What a shame, these are some dark days in the USA.
  • For sure... for sure.

    Plain TRUTH.
  • +1 @gman57

I wonder where all the job seekers of the right color are lining up for these jobs they said were stolen from them.
  • Trump is calling for the six Democratic lawmakers who urged the military not to follow any illegal orders to be arrested, and he’s reposting replies saying they should be hanged and calling them terrorists.

    "Great country ya got there!"

  • What a miserable bastard.

    Rahm Emmanuel, WSJ:
"...This would mark a dramatic departure from the reality that has emerged in the first quarter of the 21st century. The Harris campaign’s decision to make “protecting our democracy” its central message communicated that Democrats weren’t really focused on anything, and certainly not the challenges faced in attaining the American dream..."

    Bushwah.
Confronting the threat, the danger, from the Orange Toad was the right thing to do. Just look at what's happened, since! But what can you do or say, and how can you WIN when half the country lives in an alternative MAGA un-universe?
  • Well, Harris was certainly prescient on that one. Rahm Emmanuel was out to lunch.

Yes, the drywalling jobs. The agriculture jobs. The roofing jobs. The factory work. Hospitality. Cleaning offices and hotels.

We are talking about people that shunned education, don't want the available jobs, and are certain that the deck was stacked against them. Presumably because no one offered them the job of CEO.

But, they will surely be stepping up. Them and their children.

I don't know anything, of course. But, Immanuel may have been talking about the messaging necessary to get elected. Which may differ greatly from what actually needs to be done, and how it gets done.

He did manage to help to get a black man into the White House. That must've required much strategizing.

I'm pleased to report a recent development which may lead to a very good week for the country!

"Today, in a hearing to consider whether Trump was prosecuting Comey vindictively,
U.S. District Court Judge Michael Nachmanoff questioned Halligan herself,
who admitted she had shown the final Comey indictment not to the whole grand jury
but to only two of the grand jurors. Then one of the lawyers working with Halligan
told the judge that the prosecutors who had handled the case before Halligan
had drafted a memo explaining why they would not prosecute Comey.

He noted that someone in the deputy attorney general’s office told him not to admit
    that information in court.
    "

"Comey’s lawyer, Michael Dreeben, is a national expert on criminal law who,
in his time at the solicitor general’s office, represented the United States
before the Supreme Court more than a hundred times.
Dreeben urged the judge to throw out the case and strike a blow at Trump’s use
of the criminal justice system to attack his perceived enemies.

Dreeben told the judge: 'This has to stop.'”

  • With thanks to Andy Borowitz:

"WASHINGTON (The Borowitz Report)—Donald J. Trump boasted on Thursday that his funeral will draw a “much bigger crowd” than former Vice President Dick Cheney’s......(to be held today)
“Dick Cheney, who was a loser and a terrible person, will be lucky to get a thousand people at his funeral,” Trump posted on Truth Social. “My funeral will draw MILLIONS!”
Remarking that “nobody cares” about Cheney’s funeral, Trump said he expects the turnout at his funeral to set records, noting, “Every day, people say to me, ‘Sir, I can’t wait for that day to come.’”

I myself can not wait for that day to come!

I rarely say much about Trump. But what a wack job. Sociopaths can never keep their mouths shut. They also can never stop bragging about themselves Such inappropriate comments regarding Cheney.
