@Charles: Thanks. Sorry I did not realize that they were in different tabs of same excel sheet. I am able to see them now. The issue is that I have been adding to the same 9 equity MFs in taxable a/c, month after month, in rotation that I thought I…
@mrdarcey : my mobile apps is still showing Jan 2 portfolio. one more sleepless day!!! though the portfolio maintenance team have 2 recd paychecks since the start of the thread!!!
looks like though being a premium member for so many years, I have to keep a portfolio copy in yahoo, to get current portfolio value, since I am seeing Jan2 valuation only even now. (unfortunately portfolio maintenance is not outsourced by m* so the…
@tampabay: Thanks for the query. I looked for some suggestions of LB, since the course corrections may not be possible once I retire. If nothing is coming up, then I will keep adding to these, till I retire in 2018.( current overall ER ~.34)
@catch22: my holdings are both in taxable and IRA and monitored daily in M*. 401k is in a separate prudential acct with no ticker.(resembles S&p500 and amounts to 40% of the portfolio) and not included in my daily monitoring/M*portfolio manager-…

1. I have not thought of any LB as yet. 2. other major holdings are PRHSX=18.3%, vpccx=14.8%,prwcx=13.0%, and vcvlx=9.4%, rest around 5% each. 3. no bond funds
4. SS+freelance work may cover 6…

@JohnChisum: I paid for the premium service for 1 year only and later switched to TRP's free offer of M*. so cannot blame M*, though I keep adding to my TRP holdings at every opportunity for last 7 years.
I used to see m* portfolio at around 1830cst. but then found that some tickers are updated and some are not. so of late I am checking at 2200 hrs. even then, for a couple of tickers i compare randomly with yahoo prices just to make sure they are cor…

@mrdarcey: Thx for comments. The objective was lowering ER only. I am not that financially savvy to do rigorous analysis. Per se vcvlx, prwcx and vhcox/vpccx ( i did not mention earlier though I own these too- I try to put a foot in before a fund c…
1. Get the purchase price from yahoo finance for the MFs for any date in 2008.
2.Enter the MF ticker, date, quantity and price in M* and create a portfolio.
3. you can get 1, 2 3,3, 5 year performance etc. and comparison with S&P or M* index.
Reply to @Ted: Hi Ted:
Thanks in advance. I have been doing DCA inti PRHSX from 2009 or so. At 60 yo, what should be the final weightage (currently at 8%) to aim for?(in a moderate risk portfolio per MF)? No need to withdraw for some years after ret…
