Minnesota Chamber of Commerce calls for deescalation.

CNBC Reports:

One could read the article in a variety of ways. My take is that they are at least risking lawfare from Le Regime Orange however anodyne you may read their statement. And I think they know that when they look at what has been happening recently with the effort to run corporate policies from the Gilded Office. So, I'm surprised.

Manning and Napier
Mairs and Power was not listed among the signatories in the article. Do they still have that fund that invests in Minnesota-only companies? If so, I might just buy a little. (Tip o' the cap to @Mark)

"I did wonder where 3M was in that statement"

Correction: 3M was right where they should have been. @Mark- sorry about that one.

  • @Old_Joe -3M is one of the first companies listed.
@WABAC - I think you mean Mairs and Power (not Manning and Napier) and the home page states "We favor companies headquartered in Minnesota and the Upper Midwest, (Wisconsin, Illinois, Iowa, South Dakota and North Dakota), a region we have found fosters high quality companies with excellent management teams." That's an expansion from when I first learned of and invested with them many moons ago but I can't pinpoint when.
  • @Mark- sorry- totally missed that.
