    I LOVE dat shit!

Here's another: From the days of The Troubles in Ireland. Glad that's in the past! Written by Tommy Makem, who routinely toured with the Clancy Brothers. A pity that subtitles are not available. "Lord Nelson:"

  • The Band: "Christmas Must Be Tonight." Never heard that one before! Great find, that!
  • If you told me that "Big Change" was from the 1970s, or 1980s, I would not have doubted it. In fact, I was surprised to see that it was more recent.
  • Frank & The Mothers. "Peaches En Regalia."

Love the song and the album.
  • I went back and watched the last Playing For Change video again. I missed so much on the first viewing. The vocals began with Lukas Nelson hitting it out of the park. Then Sierra Ferrell put a woman's touch to the vocals. Finally they lifted Jim Morrison's voice from the original and used it for the final verses.

Rami Jaffee (Foo Fighters) playing vintage Keyboards in an homage to Ray Manzarek, with a Topanga Canyon backdrop! Native American drummers, singers and dancers. All sorts of non-traditional instruments.

This one gets better with each listen.

Everyone should put it on permanent rotation!
  • I listened to this little gem after reading multiple articles about precious metals.
    It was a welcome respite!
