As I have posted in this thread both my wife and I enjoy the Packers. But, not over the hometown Bears. Last night's game was incredible. I went to perform a small chore, right after the Bears made that field goal at the end of the 4th. Came back, and the Bears had the ball. WTF? Missed the successful onside kick!
Then, they made the exact right choice by not trying for 2-pts after the TD. OT! What a hoot. I actually don't think you can blame the loss of J Love at all. Willis played spectacularly. Though, obviously Love was not their only IR player. Still, the Bears earned that win. I was very optimistic this year. And that is no small feat for a modern Bears fan.
Who knows what a few more team additions might bring. Their defense is killing it. Williams is getting better every day. Their running game is spectacular. The coaching appears to be on the money.
@DrVentre " I actually don't think you can blame the loss of J Love at all. " I guess we'll never know after TWO penalty hits on Love! Maybe that was pay back after Packer player dumped McMahon on his head many years back.

No, and please don't think that I was being snarky. I did not like those hits, one bit. I was just majorly impressed by Willis coming in cold, and being amazing. I am of the thought that the Packers are slightly better than the Bears at this point in time. And that the Bears only need minor tweaks to potentially close that gap.
Also, re: my previous comment, look at what happened because the Bears last night attempted the 2-pt maneuver rather than simply tying. They did not learn from that previous win.
@DrVenture I've been on the road for two days & witnessed zero football. I see Packers backed door the playoffs. Injuries are a part of the game & are playing a major part in the last (6)? Packer games. Before leaving I shot one question at football observer, why are the multi million $$$$ QB's not wearing concussion protect on their helmets? His reply, I haven't seen one QB wearing one! Have a good evening, Derf
Last NFL game of the year played Sunday night & it was a fit ending to the regular season! Aging X Packer quarterback leads the "Stealers" to the playoffs.

I've wondered about that too; maybe that protective layer interferes with the helmet audio. A. Rodgers in the 4Q last night had so much trouble with his unprotected helmet audio that he had to waste timeouts on it. Maybe the signal is too touchy for the extra mass.
