Checked out his funds. Stoopid share classes. Eeny, meeny, miney, moe. Seems he's lost his mojo from earlier years. I've only looked at Morningstar, but the ratings are not just mediocre, but actually bad.
@bee, thank you. Very timely indeed. Countries who able to control the COVID-19 pandemic are likely to move their economy forward, and to positive GDPs.
Thanks for your explanation, bee, but I was asking for the name of a global equities index fund. Charley Ellis points out that while a few funds have outperformed their benchmark in the past, there's less than a remote possibility that these past outperformers will be outperformers in the future.
Yes, you're right about the last ten years. But Charley would argue that this doesn't necessarily mean that any of them will outperform the benchmark over the next ten years. Disagree with him at your own peril. Respectfully submitted.
I'm still looking for the best index fund for global equity. Combining VTI with VXUS could do the job but wouldn't VT work as a single index fund? (Again, I'm talking index funds, not managed funds. That is what Charley Ellis was speaking on in Wealthtrack.)
I would use VT in taxable account so not having to pay large capital gain. Sometime having a market return is good enough. YTD return of VT is about 10.2%.
One can have both in their tax deferred accounts if they wish.

As an example, it looks like VT has under performed VHGEX, MGGPX and PRGSX over the last 10 years.
Respectfully submitted.
