I will continue to watch and post here YouTube links when available. I record it in my TV box as a back up just in case if YouTube fails, but invariably watch it in YouTube and then delete the TV recording. Larry Summers the academic is earning back the respect / credibility lost by the Larry Summers the bureaucrat so much now I look forward to his musings every week.
There’s an extensive interview with Summers in Barron’s this week. He reiterates and expands upon the same points of view voiced on the show. I also record the show.
What I enjoyed most on the most recent program was the brief 1971 clip of a youthful Louis Rukeyser pointing out the track of the Dow Jones over the previous 5 sessions. It appears that back than more importance was attached to the Dow than other indexes.
Link to this week episode is below. Sorry, I did not get to watch this and post here until now. I see that Hank already posted in a new thread. I will continue this thread so past episodes are available for those interested.
This week's episode is yet to be available on YouTube but parts of it is available (as 4 separate segments) under "Archive of All Episodes" about half way down the page here -
Nice to see them filling in. Guests worth listening to. I don't think they mentioned much about the Italian latest political debacle. Draghi RESIGNS, but the President REFUSED to accept the resignation. How remarkable is THAT?

It's a good show but I still prefer the original incarnation with Louis Rukeyser.

Edit: It turns out these four segments do not make up the entire episode for this week.
Note the “digs” from Tom Keene introducing Larry Summers.
- “Larry’s absolutely on-fire today ...”
- “I had to be medicated for this (interview)”.
Overall, a good show. Formatting seemed better with the two co-hosts,

If the Bloomberg site does not show Ads, I am happy to flip next week the order of the links. (I happen to watch on YouTube during my walk.)
When I try to watch at Bloomberg, it just will not let me. It tells me to turn off my ad-blocker, or I don't get in. Screw 'em, then.
