Trickle, schmickle. Shades of Ronny Ray-guns. The one whose FDA wanted school-lunch ketchup to be classified as a vegetable. I guess he didn't realize that REAL vegetables are our friends.
Hi guys! What a funny thread. It reminds me of The Who. You know the song......what are Duke and I listening to now? The Beatles.....Let it Be----how long has it been? It's beautiful. Listen.....you were once there and all that. (I've got a feeling) we're still all that. Nothing's changed. It's just different. God bless the Pudd p.s. What's next? Duke says "White." I say "Abby."
Hi Crash! Sorry-----The Who sang "We Won't Get Fooled Again." (Reaganomics 2) The Beatles ..... in PA.....75 degrees......the music is loud....the beer flows freely. The Pudd remembers when. PRESSmUP: Yeah....have heard that before. As my dad would say, "They need a good swift kick in the pants 'cause they ain't thinkin' straight." God bless the Pudd
Along the lines of "Murphy [as in Murphy's Law] was an optimist", the best remark I've seen (this was in reference to the George W tax cuts) was by Kevin Phillips.
"This isn't even trickle-down economics. It's mist-down economics."
I marvel at the marketing acumen used to demonize the estate tax. "Death Tax" was a stroke of genius.
Higher dividend and capital gains tax, no deduction for property taxes, and the elimination of deductions for medical expenses doesn't bode well for me in the future.

I can't quite figure out why they think that reaction would occur.
