Open very Off-topic question, but since the 2nd refers to a "well regulated militia" Why doesn't anyone say you can only possess a gun if you are a member of a "regulated militia" rather than as a random individual. And yes I am aware that this woul…
Seems like XIV and ZIV are about to stop being going concerns, need something else to place my spiff in this or next week. May send it in with my FMIJX, not overly concerned about the weak dollar effects there.
@davidrmotan I'm not sure I follow How would a heloc work in this case? @Ted it was interesting to see the suggestion that if you're retired, maybe an emergency cash fund isn't necessary?
Currently helping my in laws rebalance their portfolios. They had no international exposure or bonds. Trying to figure out what the best t rowe price fund/funds to put them in since they have no brokerage window there. A bunch of options I'd put the…
What is this 5 bucks you mention? For fidelity i believe that only applies to etf and stock trades. Mutual fund trades have a different set of price points
Just put some "rewards cash" into FMIJX. Weird that credit cards now throw off rewards for investment. Adjusted my retirement (403B/401A) deposits to go to VHCAX & VWENX rather than a target date fund and encouraged the other money to go towards…

Moved some of our taxable account from SWTSX to PONDX probably will need it in the next 3-5 years, so lowering equity exposure while allowing room to run still. 30% bonds, 15% international index, rest still us index. A bit nervous having a bond fu…

Looking ahead to a new job with new retirement accounts/policies/options starting up in August, and trying to figure out how to position my funds accordingly. Also, trying to figure out what my options are with a 457b account after severing the old …
