Not having your own national currency but one shared by other countries poses a problem as I see it. Some countries feel they are left out as countries like Germany and Switzerland benefit from Euro policy.
I copied this from the M* forums.
As Chief Technology Officer at MORNINGSTAR INC, Greg Goff made $962,819 in total compensation. Of this total $350,000 was received as a salary, $300,000 was received as a bonus, $0 was received in stock options, $…
If they cannot update the pricing models each day, how can we be sure the other numbers are correct? That is why more posters here are verifying with other services. That does not make much sense if one is paying M* for their premium services.
Bloomberg is reporting that the ECB will provide €50 billion a month until December 2016. That is a big chunk of euros. In fact, that is €1.1 trillion.

@Gary said it all. If I can add to that;
Some people decide to take action on their own, investing for their future, and becoming more independent. As their assets grow, the government decides they have put away too much and it's not fair to the ot…
That is the big issue with biotech drugs. The cost. A course of therapy can easily be five figures and some are higher. It make them focal points to cut costs. Insurance and hospitals both look at these therapies. If they are replacing a cheaper dru…
It is interesting that we are talking about Hussman with a long history of losses and yet people invest with him. In another thread the topic is FAIRX. Berkowitz may not have the history but the similarity of both situations is present. When does on…
Single payer would be the simplest way and if the option of additional private insurance were added, it would be something to look into. The issue would come back to taxation. A lot of the countries that have socialized medicine have trouble budgeti…
The subject of financial equality has to be a UN thing. Not only is it being pushed in the US, but all over the globe.
The real issue is having the proper atmosphere so that those who are lower income and inclined to do better , have the opportuni…
Some recent comments here have mentioned increasing their holdings in Europe. That might be a very good guess at this time.
So far, 2015 has started out with events none of us could have foreseen. Tuesday futures are up but not in a big way. Oil l…
"What would be a "Non-Stock pickers market"
My take, that is when everybody and their dog are in the market. The old adage about taxi drivers is a reminder
I just woke up and checking the board, I noticed the headline of the thread was wrong. It should be deflation and not inflation. I corrected it
Apologies to all.
Thanks for those charts @catch22. It appears that both funds were started in 2010 within a couple of months from each other. DLTNX had some early performance gains over DLFNX that would explain the gap between the two funds. However, the last year …
Stockcharts is a great resource. Thanks @catch22 for those links. I had a similar chart up , same as the second one that showed performance was close. The first chart has different settings to exaggerate the findings.
I ran across this earlier today. A new wearable pain relief device called Quell. The company making the device is NeuroMetrix. This wearable goes on your upper calf and works for chronic pain like low back, diabetic nerve pain, and knee pain.

I guess I should not have said very similar, but they both have similar characteristics. I used Lipper for comparison. Both hold GNMA's as their biggest holding. Total Return has about twice the percentage of GNMA as Core Fixed Income. DLFNX has a v…
Maybe I am off on this thinking but I never regarded Doubleline's offerings as large core holdings for one's portfolio. Now I know people that have large holdings in some of his funds but they also have big holdings in other funds as well. DLTNX wou…
One can see this same kind of deficit with their iPhone/android app. It is balky, crashes a lot and takes forever to load, if it does. I tried it and deleted it within ten minutes.
Was the app made by the same people as the portfolio manager? Pro…
