  • Hi slick. I'm not a big fan of Fidelity and here is why. Back before GM went bankrupt the plan administrator was a department within GM itself. My father was a retired GM employee drawing retirement benefits and healthcare was part of this package. While GM itself was the plan administrator things went soomthly and I had no problem in dealing with them and governing my father's affairs plus paying as they should. After Fidelity took as over as the plan administrator I had nothing but problems and had to secure an attorney to engage them through leagal proceedings. A few weeks before the the hearing they paid up. I was wanting it to go to trial because my father's estate could have received treble damages. Needless to say, I'm staying as far away from Fidelity as possible. I hope your experience with Fidelity was better than that of mine.
