Warren Zevon was inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame several days ago. One of his lesser-known tunes titled "Mohammed's Radio" was captured live on the Stand In The Fire album.

Best of luck to you my friend! A quick, and hopefully painless, recovery. Thanks, man. Just finished, this afternoon. It's almost becoming routine, periodically. I'm in good hands, no physical pain.
Hi @DrVenture Our house enjoys the 'street' music. Interesting song from Neil, eh?
Friday's are cool.....
We can't say NO to Steely Dan any day; and here is Black Friday. Nice driving, road music.....
About the song's meaning (supposed meaning)
Original Black Friday: The song refers to the 1869 event where investors tried to corner the gold market, only to have the U.S. government release millions of dollars in gold, which crashed the price and bankrupted many.
Fictional character: The lyrics describe a corrupt speculator who is making a fortune during this crisis and plans to escape before others realize what is happening.
Australian setting: The speculator plans to flee to Muswellbrook, a town in Australia, which was chosen for being a far-off, fictional place to live off his profits.
Yesterday I discovered the following performance for the first time. Taj Mahal performs "Ain't That A Lot Of Love" from The Rolling Stones Rock and Roll Circus. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bpKPhsC9Nnw
The Dirty Mac perform "Yer Blues" from The Rolling Stones Rock and Roll Circus. The Dirty Mac was comprised of Eric Clapton (lead guitar), Keith Richards (bass), Mitch Mitchell of The Jimi Hendrix Experience (drums), and John Lennon on guitar and vocals. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JeFwaWFTGYU
Led Zeppelin performs "How Many More Times" live for Danish TV channel Danmarks Radio. Excellent early Led Zeppelin performance! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wEPog_WdPE4

Splendid.
I like this rollicking one, especially:
"The Weather Is Here, I Wish You Were Beautiful."
A special cover of Warren Zevon - I appreciate the connection between Zevon, Vedder and Letterman
The rug that ties the room together!
You may know that David Letterman delivered a heartfelt induction speech
for Warren at the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame proceedings.
