Palantir, which is also a donor for the White House’s new ballroom that is under construction, just inked a contract with the U.S. Army worth up to $10 billion over the next decade.

Wonder what you’d get if you sent in a $1 donation for the ballroom? You’d think there would be a public address.

    Here’s what AI says:

“The White House has not provided a public method for individuals to send donations for the White House ballroom project. While the project is reportedly being funded by private donations from individuals and corporations, with President Donald Trump stating that it will be paid for "100 percent by me and some friends of mine, donors" , the administration has not released a comprehensive list of donors or a public fundraising mechanism.

“Donations are reportedly being coordinated through a nonprofit charitable organization, the Trust for the National Mall, which will fund the project. However, there is no public information on how to contribute through this organization specifically for the ballroom. The White House hosted a dinner for major donors, including representatives from companies like Lockheed Martin, Google, Amazon, and Meta, suggesting that contributions are being solicited from select corporate and individual patrons rather than the general public. As of now, there is no official public portal or guidance on making individual contributions to the project.”

    WTF.
  • WTF indeed.

Whitney Webb, Chris Hedges. Video. "The Rise of The Thielverse." Hedges was one of a team which won a Pulitzer for his reporting years ago re: the Middle East for the NYT. When he told too much truth, he was fired. His father was a Presbyterian Minister, and he also has been ordained, to serve in the ministry he's already been doing professionally for all these years because he is so prophetic. Not in the ordinary way that term is used; more accurately, "prophetic" refers to confronting the powerful and the wealthy with the Truth. "Afflict the comfortable and comfort the afflicted."

Stupid, LOUD crap sound-effects to start. Turn the volume down, initially.

We used to call that bribery.

And this: … contributions are being solicited from select corporate and individual patrons rather than the general public.

    WTH is “select”?

I’d sure like to donate $1 and become part of that ”select” group.

Anybody know if @FD1000 is among the select group and contributing to the ballroom?
  • I am still speechless…
  • Chuckle , chuckle , chuckle!!!

I’m sure @F1000 will respond to my earlier query and confirm that as an avowed Trump supporter he is indeed donating to the ballroom along with instructions on how we average folks might join that ”select” group. I hate feeling left out.

And, according to him, he has plenty of $$ to spare!
