Hi @Sven . I noted previous and continue to feel that until the big head slap arrives hard and strong; the 'believers' will rely on blogs, feeds and the tv channels they like to feed upon.
Hi catch22, those media channels you mentioned allow the spreading of disinformation and propaganda. Facebook and X are some of the worst offenders. That is where many people gets their daily information.
Even when information available is incomplete, it would be beneficial to verify other sources, so to make informed decision. Many believe that Trump will fix inflation from Day one. Guess what it is a complex issue that is not readily solved. What is the egg price now and they are still way up there.
KY Gov. is too tactful. I felt betrayed after the results of the 2024 election were made public. It was a revelation to me: too many voters refused delivery on what had already occurred during Orange's FIRST term. (I did not need to see what transpired the first time, in order to know better than to give him my vote. He's a transparent liar and grifter; you want such a person as President????? But it did not matter to too many voters.)
I still have contact with Trump-voter friends. A great deal of this picture is Party loyalty. (Even though the Repugnants have become an obstructionist, subversive organization, as opposed to a legitimate Party.) How could they not see through the greasy lies and empty words offered to the public during the campaign? Maybe they saw it, but it did not matter to them. (More's the pity.)
