  • Just enough scoring by Dodgers to make the game watchable. Dodger pitcher,"MOTO", threw one heck of a game! A+ Blue Jay pitcher gave up A pair of HR's to open the game up in 6/th or 7/th inning.

Starting 16th inning. They are allergic to scoring. ... Almost 11:00 p.m. in L.A. and 2:00 a.m. in the East.
.................Freddy Freeman solo HR wins it for the Dodgers in the 18th. Yaba daba doo.

Missed ball 4 call tainted the game. Shit happens! What should have been ball 4 was called a very late strike & caused runner on first to be tagged out.
ADDED Ohtani was a Jay killer!! Manager challenged him one to many times!

Glad I didn’t stay up for the end. That was a weird looking pickoff play for sure. Never seen or heard the likes of it. ISTM the ultimate responsibility is with the base runner, late call or not. Often a batter will toss the bat and begin walking to first if he thinks the last pitch was ball 4. in an attempt to influence the ump and crowd. I never understood why that is allowed, but it’s part of the game. Looks like in this case, the batter unfortunately influenced the base runner by starting to trot to first before hearing the call.

Something I detest is when a batter, thinking he just hit a HR, stands at the plate and stares at the ball instead of running hard. Just doesn’t look good. And it did recently cause what should have been a triple to be only a single in one of the recent playoff games as the ball missed being a homer by inches and bounced back onto field. They didn’t pull that kind of s*** back in the days of Harwell. Doubt he would have approved.
