Caroline Kennedy slams RFK Jr. as 'predator' before confirmation hearing

"I have known Bobby my whole life; we grew up together," she wrote in the letter, in part. "It's no surprise that he keeps birds of prey as pets because he himself is a predator."

"His basement, his garage, and his dorm room were the centers of the action where drugs were available, and he enjoyed showing off how he put baby chickens and mice in the blender to feed his hawks. It was often a perverse scene of despair and violence," she wrote.

She also accused Robert F. Kennedy Jr. of being "addicted to attention and power," and said he "preys on the desperation of parents of sick children – vaccinating his own children while building a following by hypocritically discouraging other parents from vaccinating theirs."

Not that it matters but I almost wish she hadn't said out loud what many already think anyway. That 'predator' moniker seems to describe exactly the type of candidate the "R's" want running things. More loony, audacious, deviant, and especially criminal behavior traits and inclinations that one can bring to the table the better.
  • No ethics, no spine. What's in it for me? Repugnant Party. Trump Cult. Sieg Heil. I've had a few conversations with Trumpers. They like his "straight talk" approach, and that he's a disruptor. Some years ago, it was reported that the same people were willing to vote for BERNIE, on the same basis. So, then.... the particular policy positions and goals of the candidate (now Prez) just don't matter. Fucking brilliant. We are becoming a nation of imbeciles who cannot think.

Apologies if it’s already posted above.

Here’s a 6-minute clip of Carolyn Kennedy reading the letter

Gruesome, funny in places, alarming …

But I must add that Mr. Trump is a very good judge of character.

I’m binge-watching 325 twenty-minute episodes of ”Mary Hartman! Mary Hartman!”, a Norman Lear production that aired weeknights for a year and a half during 1986-87. In one ‘86 episode author Gore Vidal visits Mary who is confined to a mental hospital. The hospital is planning to bury a time capsule to be opened in 100 years. Mary suggests putting a book in the capsule. Vidal objects saying that, “In 100 years nobody will know how to read. Everyone will be consumed by all this electronic gizmo.“

That perceptive way back in 1986! :)
  • I gotta catch up with that one. I didn't cotton to it, back then. I recall one from the '80s with Bess Armstrong. "All Is Forgiven." Hysterical and SMART.

  • Nobody seems to get the idea here. Trump wants to destroy the federal government. Kennedy is part of the plan.
  • Oh, I think that more than a few of us here have figured that out.
