Small-Mid Cap ETFS

edited December 2022 in Fund Discussions
I've found a few that I like while researching a recent mention of a new ETF, SMOT. I currently own VBK & VBR but looking at CALF, AVUV or SYLD on the value side. I maybe overthinking a bit but in the near term, I think active management over pure indexing is probably a better bet. Although the ones I mention aren't 'Active' in the way we typically view that.
Anyone invest or looked at these?
I own DIVO (thanks to this Group/Board) and it's done well despite the current market environment.

  • My favorite is DFAT from Dimensional Fund Advisers.
  • @KHaw24: Thanks for your suggestions. I own SYLD, which used to be a mid-cap value fund but which is large-cap as currently constituted. DIVO has also done extremely well in the LC realm. It’s concentrated and has a big wad of cash.
  • DIVO also " writes covered calls on individual stocks on a tactical basis" per their web site.
