Currently, Seafarer Is running only two funds and they are very focus on executing their strategies. In my opinion, it would be beneficial to add her as a co-manager to the existing funds.
Could be a preference for San Francisco over Salt Lake City. I’d fit in better in the former, FWIIW.
This is very plausible. Her former employer (Mathews) is headquartered in San Francisco while her new employer (Seafarer) is located in the San Francisco Bay area.
There are other factors we don’t have visibility on their day-to-day operation such as the supporting team of analysts and company culture.
Don’t know how much Rondure has grown since they branched out from Grandeur Peaks funds. For awhile Rondure managers share GP’s information for their stock picks. Often the analysts are the unsung hero While the fund managers get all the recognition.
