Here's a statement of the obvious: The opinions expressed here are those of the participants, not those of the Mutual Fund Observer. We cannot vouch for the accuracy or appropriateness of any of it, though we do encourage civility and good humor.
Hmm. I got through and am not a wsj subscriber. But I have not visited wsj site in April. There's generally a quota of a few free visits a month. If your web browser allows private browsing try using that function. To complicate the matter the article is from April 8 but is running in today's issue. Anyway it's a partial interview following a short article and tells nothing new so if you can't access it there is no timely new information you are missing.
@JoJo: Pay structure not mentioned in detail, but I read the article to mean she won’t draw any compensation until assets rise far above the current 140M, to about 300M. Maybe she can camp out in Grandeur Peak’s office while she’s not staying in cheap hotels overseas.
When you're the owner of a business, the profits from the business are far more important in most cases than any salary you might collect from also being an employee of the same business.

RNWOX is considered a World Stock fund by M*. My glance at the portfolio holdings leads me to believe it's a Diversified Emerging Markets fund, as 76% of the holdings are in developing countries. M*'s mis-characterization makes it hard to compare the fund to its real peers.
The Overseas fund, ROSOX, has attracted only 18M. By way of contrast, Rajiv Jain, who started his own two funds (GSIHX and (GQGPX) about 5 months before Ms. Geritz's, has attracted about 1.6B in broadly similar categories
