The Closing Bell: U.S. Stocks Surge, Dollar Rises On Trump Tax Plan
I know this sounds weird. But I look at the state of our nation's infrastructure (roads, bridges, airports) and wonder why we don't raise taxes and fix things up. As long as the increased revenue doesn't go for pricey VIP charter flights or $25,000 phone booths*, I've no objection to paying a bit more - long as everyone else bears their share.
@hank- Right on!! That WAPO article re Pruitt is plain disgusting. Why should anyone be allowed to know what our leaders are doing? We're more of a third-world outfit every passing day.
