Today's WSJ section on investing in funds has a curious leader in the Small-Cap Value category. It's LMCG International SmCp Inst (ISMIX). I happen to own ISMRX, the investor shares. David Snowball announced this fund's appearance last year, but I can't find the reference on the Commentary. I'm not complaining as it's up 13%. The rest of the fund rankings, including WSVRX, one of my conviction buys that may be coming to life, are indeed small-cap value funds. Kind of odd, n'est-ce pas?
