I may not be the first to comment on this feature of the Discussions section. However, I wonder why I am taken to the bottom of the next page and not to the top when I move from page 1 to 2, or 3 to 4, etc. I must scroll back up to the top with each page change. If I read a post and then return to the list of postings, I am taken to a different view of that page than the one I was looking at when I clicked on a topic. Finally, the "yellow" markers denoting what I've read do not correspond to where I am taken if I resume reading a discussion a day or two later. The site knows what I've viewed, but it does not take me to the spot where I left off reading. My navigation would be greatly enhanced if the MFO board acted like other boards that I read. Thanks for looking at this query.

are you clicking on Discussions or using your browser to go back tot the previous page. It is better to click on Discussions than to go back in the browser. What I do sometimes is use the right click button on a discussion link and open all the links I want to read in a new tab.
Finally, are you using
http://www.mutualfundobserver.com/discuss/index.php?p=/discussion/10465/irritating-navigation-on-this-board
or
http://www.mutualfundobserver.com/discussions-3/#/discussion/10465/irritating-navigation-on-this-board
you can use the unembedded version, if you prefer when reading the forum.
http://www.mutualfundobserver.com/discuss/index.php
and if you want to see the other MFO options besides the forum - Click on Home to return to the Embedded version.

they do correspond if you click on Discussions.
> "Right click," then, is Greek to me, although I recognize the term. I realize that the Mac can accomplish the same thing, but it's not something I've ever learned.
translation from Greek.
