Reply to @Sven: Hi Sven, I don't really have time to look at all the bonds/stocks or mf/etf with family and work. I just let them swing passively. That's why the tsp/401K is 80% stocks and 20% bonds. I am very fortunate, did not get any bankrupci…

Probably extensions of 2008 from US left over. Housing in US are also not doing too well but could be bottoming out. I think we'll have sluggish world wide growth over the next 3-8 yrs

lsbrx is a great choice for intermediate/long term. I do own it. I would recommended 50s% etfs/index funds [i.e. bnd] and 50% in active bond funds .
good luck

don't really know the answer sir
probably like armagedon-double dip all over again, dows drop to 5000s levels/oil to 30 dollars/barrell... and by then good time to jump in and gobble up stuff again
we will never now
Reply to @Old_Joe:
hello sir what I meant is the 'domino effects', just line 'em and push 'em down... one fall and the rest may fall. probably may also effect california, florida, arizone, michigan, ohio - all may default slowly
I would add much more if oil does reach below 60$ /barrell [remember when it was 35 $$, I wish I had more cash in 2008]
