Hey @Old_Joe after digging in more this morning, I’m realizing we are in much better shape than I originally thought. The wife is so happy that she’s gonna drop a day from work starting next year. Off to Cayman Islands to celebrate my 60th.
I don’t post much here and I do follow every day.
So in-turn, we are both 60 this year, I am military and disabled retired through the Air Force. I’ve been this way since I retired in 2008. I worked full-time job for 10 years after I retired, b…
Try Microsoft Access Database. I imported excel spreadsheet into the program and it shows the percentage of each contribution of how much it made or lost since I started investing in 2005. I’ve never used the database before so it will be interesti…
TRP - PRNEX was down $4K - Exchanged to TCELX - New China Fund at TRP. Share price and made up what I lost. Then exchanged Africa/Middle East and already have made up for 1/2 of what I lost.
Most of our IRA’s are all Roth

We plan on retiring 5 yrs from now. I’m retired military plus disabled veteran. No kids, so we plan on having a good time spending what we’ve saved. Haven’t decided when to take Social Security.
I don’t whose decision at TRP made the call, but they didn’t distribute any LT Capital Gains in 2019. Only short term came out. I moved what I had back into PRMTX.
PRNEX has never recovered since it went downhill. So instead of trading it all out, I moved a percentage of shares to TCELX. I didn’t have China in my portfolio, so it’s like buying a first year car. Give it a shot and see what happens.
@Puddnhead - Sorry that I don't meet your requirements. I found myself a great financial advisor so I'll go that route instead. I've been having fun doing it myself and 4 of my funds, I have withdrawn what I put into them, and the rest is pure p…
Our goal is working to 65. However, I was diagnosed with Lupus, so I don’t know how long I will be able to work. My wife has a good full time job which covers our dental and eyes, so if I need to stop working I can.

These are all the funds. Both my wife and I are 54, both work full time and only have 4-legged friends as our kids. Recently purchased a 2017 Kia Sorrento from Enterprise Leasing, my other car needed over $3,500 of work and it was starting to wear…
Much like they say don't but a new car in first year of production. I bought a Dodge Stratus in 1st year of production in 1995 and ran the wheels off of it over in England for 6 years.
I have been DCA into PRGTX - TRP Global Technology since it wa…
Thanks Bob and Old Skeet. I should of wrote more information and reviewed before I posted, for which I learnt my lesson. Actually it's in Roth IRA, what I initially invested was removed to get into PRGTX when it opened as new fund. The shares left …
How do yall decide when to pull the plug and move assets that have made money. For example, I own PRMTX, trp telecommunications. I was accumalating shares in $30 range and now trades in $90 arena.
I'm in hold status myself waiting for the end of year distributions. Last year, the money was reinvested back into my funds and I wait until the new year to balance my portfolio if its out of whack. I usually have my IRA's funded by September and …
From my experience Nalco is part of Ecolab. Part of Ecolab supplies chemicals to clean manufacturing facilities and provide lube chemicals for conveyors etc. NALCO helps to maintain Nano systems such as those used to provide clean water to meet th…
Both of these funds trade in pretty much the same arena. I started PRGTX with profits of PRMTX, moved some in PRWCX for preservation and built Global Allocation RPGAX and Global Market Secton Bond PRSNX with PRMTX profits. I also initially started…
I purchased PRMTX back in the heyday when prices were low and started with PRGTX much in the same way. DCA into both funds and have used the profits to build new funds.
My wife is from Bournemouth, UK and grew up at the beach. She wants to move back to the beach when we get a little older. Is Dunedin a nice place to live.
