One wonders how much Santa might have available in his bag of gifts; depending upon whether he is the Italian, French, German or American Santa.
A coin toss may do as well for the decision................

Another thought, too; is too determine whether the "software" drivers are compatible or may be updated for any devices you having been using with your Mac. These would include, but not limited to: printers, a scanner, digital camera, etc.

Hi rono,
A few times today (Wed) the short term Italian bond yields were a bit higher than the 10 yr.....an inverted yield curve. This is not a very pretty indicator. I placed a link for the 10yr in the reply post to OJ here.
The bond traders, in…
Howdy OJ,
Not that this matters per se, for daily monitoring; but this link lets one view the Italian 10yr bond rate/price. I have watched this beginning when MF Global closed down their operations. Although having a fair amount of bond exposure, …

Howdy Investor,
I/we don't have more equity related exposure than we think we don't know about.
I posted in June or July that a full M* report indicated about 43%. That may be down a bit right now; but is close to the 35-40 percent area.
We have…
Hi scott,
I agree; but what is the portfolio mentioned?

Hi johnN,
I appreciate your commenting; but I don't know what you mean by "John Bogle's portfolio", unless the old axiom about one's age in bonds and the remainder in equites.
What is John Bogle's portfolio?
Thank you,

Looks like we all should have had some money parked in this fund, after the 2008 melt. Even with the about -40% in 2008, as randykevin noted; the 3, 5 and 10 year numbers are very decent. I can not recommend another similar fund in front of this one…
Hi 00BY,
Nice mix with these, too. I agree that one needs to look past some bond funds named total and no forget the flexible and strategic names. We all are fortunate today to have a wide range of choices to mix and match.

Hi Burt......
Ok, I misunderstood. So, you are still in need of a core "bond" fund and the other bond funds you now have will complement that core holding? Yes?
