Millennials will have their choice of many empty houses after the boomers are gone. All the surpluses of the boomers will benefit the millennials. And once the boomers spend all of their money on healthcare and sell their stocks, interest rates wi…
"What was meant to be a new, decentralised form of money that lacked “systemically important institutions” and “too big to fail” has become something even worse: a system completely controlled by just a handful of people."
What a sad demise - to be…
Isn't there a saying about a stopped clock being right once in a while? John Hussman writes very articulately, but that does not seem to translate into good performance. Maybe this will be his year ...
Thanks for site seeing tip vkt! I'm on my way there now.
I agree about additional categories, but I thought about a new category called "Way Off Topic" for discussions about assault weapons and the like. Ha!
You have to be 007 to find that application. Imagine if you really need to ask a question about the fund. Note that there is a 1% short term redemption fee for holding ZEOIX less than 30 days.
I like FFRSX better than ZEOIX for my cash.
COREX opened in 2014, has $260,000 in assets and 84% in cash. Something tells me this fund is being run in someone's backyard and is hardly a "Core investment" fund.

Thanks Ted! This article has a great quote for those Monte Carlo simulation fans:

Thanks for tips Hank! I thought I was creative, but you have me beat by a mile! Most of this "out of wallet" info is sitting in people's e-mail accounts. I delete every e-mail right after I read it. If I want to save it, I save it on my PC.
Jeffrey Gundlach is not afraid to make big bets. I think being bold is one of his good attributes.
In addition to his stake in PR municipal bonds, he recently agreed with Bill Gross in shorting the German bond, but he wants to amp it up 100 times:…
Although I am just a student, here is my 2 cents.
Human advisers tend to concentrate on the major categories of US Stocks, Foreign Stocks, and Fixed Income. If a portfolio has 10% or more in the "Other" category, it is certainly a robo adviser. I…

I bought PEBIX back in March when cman noted the strength in the emerging markets. I am happy with the performance of PEBIX. Pimco has some good funds, so I would not disregard all of them.
Some people collect sports memorabilia, and some people collect mutual funds. A slim portfolio is the only way for me - I feel scattered and cluttered if I own more than 5 mutual funds.
Reply to @Pangolin: Good article - thanks! There will probably be lots more Roth conversions in 2012 because of the tax rates going up in 2013. Politicians are short-sighted - they want money to spend now and dang the future. I don't think Roths …
Reply to @Hiyield007: There may be a train wreck ahead. Take a look at this ugly chart and see what too much MBS did to my fund in 2008. I hope that your funds fair better than mine did:
