  • I think that an advantage of PRGTX (which I own) over the other TRP funds in its category is that the large majority of them have this notation: "Redemption Fee: 2% (90 days or less)."

  • I really like this fund, and agree with Tony that the short-term redemption fee helps keep traders at bay. Nothing wrong with that at all. Also like IHI, which for me is a tech fund within the healthcare sector.
  • Traders are going to utilize ETFs to speculate on short-term movements of Tech stocks... I don't have any issue with the redemption fee because investors shouldn't be moving in and out of active funds that regularly anyways, but certainly don't consider that to be an "advantage" over other funds.
