After readings Ted's link to Barron's & reading through it, I'm thinking of starting a position in VGELX. That fund looks to be down about 11% ytd. & it had a rather large distribution. Anyone have any thoughts on this fund or other related energy funds? HAVE A GREAT SUNDAY !! derf
Hello Derf. I bought the investor shares VGENX for the kids' Roth IRAs last year, and just recently added some more for 2015. They are ages 34 and 39 FWIW. We don't have any ourselves as we have individual stock holdings in big oil, nat gas, pipelines, storage, etc. but I like the fund a lot. best, hawk
