FYI: There is no empirical evidence that a manager investing in his/hers own fund will produce better performance. Sounds good, makes an investor feel good, but nevertheless, its a myth.

  • The biggest concern for fund investors is if the manager or his family front runs the fund. I am not sure what sort of active policing goes into preventing this.
