Looks like GAINX holds equal amounts of US (55%) and Foreign equities(45%) and is considered a World Stock fund. Heavily weighted towards Consumer Defensive stocks. Two other funds I like in the world stock catagory are USAWX and TOLSX.
Here is another fund from the same family and with one of the same managers: http://quotes.morningstar.com/fund/gaaex/f?t=GAAEX With an average 5 year return of -25% (per year!), it might be the worst fund ever.
Many fund companies have funds that have not performed very well. In fact, Manning & Napier has this small cap fund that flat out stinks. Does this one fund take away from their other funds ? After all, it's the same group of managers...
