Evaluate the risk level of my Bond ETFs please

My Bond ETF sleeve has the following characteristics:
Duration. 2.7
Int Bonds 22%
Non invest grade bonds 14%
TTM yield 4.76 %
ER .31%

Goals. Not chasing yield Divs reinvested. In a tax deferred account. Looking for total returns above AGG comments welcome. Thanks in advance.

    Since 2012 (14 year period), BOND out-performed BND. See chart from M* below.

    You can compare them in 5 yrs, 3 yrs, and 1 yr period.
    BOND is active managed and its risk is comparable to BND.
    You can compare the sector exposure between the two in M* link above.

    Higher ER is expected for active managed fund vs index bond funds such as BND or AGG. Between the two, i would pick BOND.
  • I am far from an expert regarding the OP question, but the numbers posted seem to be very low risk.

    FWIW, in addition to yield, I look at TR. Personally, I like to see it exceed yield. Again, only IMHO.

    I assume by "sleeve" that you mean it is comprised of multiple bond (OEF?) funds.
