JPMorgan's Dimon on Iran War, Inflation, Credit Cycles, video chat, March 2
dimon is a perma-hedging opportunist, financial and political. his spin on 'creative destruction' in iran is why, i guess, shareholders permit overcompensation.
as with 'inflation is not yet defeated'... perfectly compatible with affordability never to return. he speaks as if gop voters ever understood secular inflation vs cyclicalty in specific items. but no worry, we'll be reminded when trump 'brings gas back to $2/gal', which he never did since 2025 anyway.

Oil price is rising fast with the Iran war spreading in that region. Straits of Hormuz, a key control point of oil and LNG shipment is impacted directly. Will see how this unfold in coming weeks.
