"...... and look at what we are watching being built. Control who votes, through purges, ID laws, and registration barriers. Control where they vote, through polling place closures, drop box restrictions, and early voting cuts. Control what they know, by gutting CISA, disbanding the FBI’s Foreign Influence Task Force, and targeting researchers who track disinformation. Control what their votes produce, through gerrymandering that no federal court can review and the potential elimination of Section 2. Control who counts, by driving out experienced election officials through threats and replacing them with loyalists who owe their positions to the people whose power the counting is supposed to check. And close the last escape valve by making ballot initiatives harder to pass and easier to override.

No single piece of this is the kill shot. Together they build a system where elections still happen, votes still get counted, observers still watch, and the machine structurally predetermines the outcome across enough cycles that the opposition’s only path to power runs through the handful of jurisdictions the machine has not yet reached. That is competitive authoritarianism, that is what Hungary looks like, and that is what has been built, in public, with our tax dollars, while we watched."

    He will cancel FREE and FAIR elections,,,, one way or another. If he were to allow FREE AND Fair elections ,, he would be facing impeachment and conviction and perhaps imprisonment soon after. He would probably exile himself to Moscow.

    He is his uncle Vlad's stooge. During the '15-'16 campaign, Little Donny volunteered to tell an interviewer: we have no trouble getting money. We get a lot of money from Russia. (I suppose because legitimate banks did not want to lend to a 4 -- or is it 6-time bankrupt person.)

    What they are doing is precisely what's described above: continue the appearances, but subvert the entire election process from every angle.

    Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem doubled down on her election integrity comments after setting off a firestorm for saying DHS will ensure the “right people” vote for the “right leaders”.

    At a press conference in Arizona on Friday to promote a voter I.D. requirement, Noem said, “When it gets to election day, we’ve been proactive to make sure we have the right people voting, electing the right leaders to lead this country.”

    ABC’s Jonathan Karl calling the comments “extraordinary,” and many critics were incensed by the secretary’s remarks. Noem addressed Karl and CNN’s Jake Tapper by name for questioning her intentions.

    In an X post Sunday, Noem shared an interview Tapper conducted with border czar Tom Homan on Sunday, and said, “It must be exhausting to regularly manufacture outrage even over the most commonsense statements.

    It must be exhausting to regularly manufacture lies which question the integrity of U.S. elections.
