Private donor provides $130 million to pay military
For sure. Does anyone else get the impression that the United States government is now being run by a coterie of billionaires, and that Congress is just a Punch and Judy puppet show?
Well first off if he said it everyone should know that it's an 'effing LIE!!!
But then there is this: "“There are too many variables to accurately estimate how many personnel $130 million would pay, but with very rough calculations, it might cover about 2 percent of the active-duty force,” Elaine McCusker, a former Pentagon comptroller and now a senior fellow at the think tank American Enterprise Institute, told Bloomberg."
It's easy to understand that the infantile Trump responses to Epstein pressures were fantasy expulsion, dumping diarrhea on his opponents, and actual destruction, wantonly tearing down a large part of the People's House.
Plus our own military murdering noncombatants at his command.
Plus the literal multimillion-dollar self-dealing for our government having done its legal job a few years ago.
But this private donation represents a new chapter indeed.
Centuries ago, The Catholic Church instituted a whacko, extreme "reform" in order to be rid of what was all too common, back then: clergy and their families were treating the church and its properties as if it all were their own little fiefdom. So the church began to require priests to be celibate. (The "remedy" did not entirely solve the problem, of course.)
Who's treating the WH as his own fiefdom, TODAY, eh? He's consistent, anyhow. The drawings of what the decor and furnishings will resemble look like the Tsar's gold on gold on gold on gold overdone palaces. Utterly tasteless. The fact that private money is funding it does nothing to reverse the wanton destruction of the East Wing. Was anything saved, preserved? And there has been ZERO permitting process. "I'm the Tsar, I can do whatever I want."

How dare you question the actions of our glorious leader! Don't be surprised if you receive a visit from several not-so-friendly law enforcement agents (under thumb of glorious leader) and a subsequent one-way, non-refundable ticket to CECOT!
I don’t really know, but if soldiers are paid with money from secret private dudes does that make our military nothing more than mercenaries? They already are engaged in extra constitutional actions and now they will be bought and paid for by a secret cabal, not tax payers.
publicity stunt. ~$100 per active duty person due money. not enough for 1 trump sneaker. can you imagine being a low-level officer and attempting to explain this to MAGA ?

And secondly, I'd like to punch them Judys, every one of them. Why are they still being paid?
