    The White House is often referred to as the People's House.
    It's not supposed to be Mar-a-Lago II...

    I should add here that Trump says the ballroom will be paid for by donations from “patriots” - whatever that means. But it seems you and me are footing the bill for the bathroom upgrade.

    I'm fairly certain that the taxpayer will be on the hook for all of it. 47 is notorious for welching on contractors.

    That would be "involuntary" donations it appears. Will those "patriots" be Mexican? Money they never gave us for wall building? Maybe Qatar?

    The whole place is going to resemble a 'bordello'. The Oval Office already looks like the check in lobby area for a 'bordello'. Beyond the monies spent, what a shame for the whole thing.

    He wants to be a king. This gold obsession will make the place resemble the Tsar's winter palace in St. Petersburg. Gross and brutishly overdone, an affront to taxpayers in a (formerly) "free" country. (LOUD start:)
