FWIW saying my levered SPX short ETF and option position did their job - for once I was right on time with my analysis and timing of hedges. Of course, it was nowhere enough to offset the damage everywhere, but at least there was big green showing up on otherwise dismal days that could have offset a few positions had I decided to sell them.
