Thank for the post on this topic, Investor. I've been following several blogs on the topic of Peak Oil, and have found the one by Will Martin, PeakOilProof.com, to be of particular interest. Will has an MBA from Cornell and has been/is currently employed in the oil industry, and is independently researching, writing and speaking about investment portfolio strategies that may profit from price spikes in the oil market. Will comes off as a very well studied and articulate guy and what I like about his approach is that he considers the varied perspectives on the topic, and models his ideas with those varied perspectives in mind. He's in the midst of writing a book on the subject of developing a peak oil proof portfolio, and you can find a sample portfolio scheme in the latest video post he made:
