Is there not any way at all to make sure it doesn't happen? At the level of software design? Or do they just not care, and prefer to wait for the criminal scum to show them where the flaws are? That's the way it seems to be. Jayzuz.

Maybe all of the wonderful new AI needs all of our personal info. Maybe someday it might tell us why, and what it does with it. Maybe Zuckerberg will stop jerking us around. Same for Google.
Maybe I'll live to see all (or even any) of that, but I really doubt it.
