How to buy DoubleLine DBLTX with less than $100,000 ?
I tried to buy $10,000 worth of DBLTX through TDameritrade.com, but got an error message that I had not met the minimum. M* lists $100,000 as the minimum, so I guess TD is holding to that. How can the little guy participate? thx!
Or you can buy it in an IRA. You can buy DBLTX (the cheaper I shares) in an IRA for $5k directly from DBL, and I assume the same minimum applies to at least some of the brokerages that handle it:

$5,000 class I shares
$500 class N shares
You are correct. Fidelity offers DBLTX, in an IRA, at $5,000.

That's the answer! I was looking at the wrong (institutional) share class. DLTNX will do the job. Thx!
