  • Given the varying rates on testing, I look at the fatality rate. Which may only be slightly more accurate. However, the doubling rate of fatalities continues to improve:

    We are well past the stage where it was doubling every three days. Things might look a little different two-three weeks after the Memorial Day weekend. But most states never got to every three days to begin with.





  • Hospitalizations are a quicker and better indicator but not all states report them, for obvious reasons.

  • I know NC hospitalization have been going up steadily since 5/16/2020.
