Comparing Bond Funds

If I want to compare bond funds on Morningstar or other charts, will distributions paid be reinvested or not?

Comments

  • If you look at a fund's own semi- or annual reports, the results on the charts will always specify reinvested dividends, interest, any and all profit of any sort. Or words to that effect. I use Morningstar out of convenience a lot. I just tell myself that whether or not the answer to your question is yes or no, it will be an "apples to apples" comparison, anyhow, from the same source. Although their categories are not precise, to say the least.
  • Thanks Crash, at age 85 I'm slow.
  • @ron- And you're damned well entitled to slow down a bit. Carry on!
