Effective January 15, 2014, the MainStay Large Cap Growth Fund (the “Fund’) will be available for purchase by new investors subject to applicable investment minimums and eligibility requirements. All references to the Fund being closed to new investors will be deleted as of that date.

Thanks Shadow. What do you think of the fund?

It is being added to my 401(k) effective Jan 2, 2014 - we are getting the MLRSX (Class R6, ER 0.63%) to replace Vanguard Morgan Growth Admiral, VMRAX (ER 0.26%).

Reply to @bumine: Just took a quick look at M*, which gives it four stars. While there are a lot of assets under management, it appears to be performing well in this market.
