There is no correct, proper, beautiful English being spoken or written anywhere, anymore. A waitress waits ON you. You wait FOR a bus or for speeches by government talking-head-types.
Don't understand why media treats Fed Govs like Popes, hanging on their every word. They are just ego-driven, power-conscious blowhards in jobs with very little accountability or need for consistency or responsibility. At least the Fed chief can be hauled in front of the Congress where he/she can be challenged.
If the same system existed in the judiciary, there would be no coordinated statements from the SC justices. People would be following each of them in their lecture tours trying to figure out where the SC actually stood in their positions based on individual opinions.
