The battle over the US budget is the wrong fight

Seems to make a lot of sense to me:
"A small rise in economic growth would entirely eliminate the projected long-term budget gap"

  • Anything that makes sense doesn't stand a chance in the halls of congress.
  • I didn't see anything in that article that said by getting GDP growth to X/year would reduce the debt to Y in Z years.

    My guess is that the % would need to be at a high level for many years.
