Have not read an interview as to reason for change but would not sell BPLEX unless you think the 2013 performance is a trend. Jones has been the main day to day manager and Motamed has been a senior analyst all along. My guess is this is recognition of Motamed's ongoing contributions to the fund. Previous named manager Donovan was co-chief executive officer so maybe he needed to concentrate on these duties if he is still with the firm.
