Here's a statement of the obvious: The opinions expressed here are those of the participants, not those of the Mutual Fund Observer. We cannot vouch for the accuracy or appropriateness of any of it, though we do encourage civility and good humor.
The more I review this fund the more I like it. Low beta, low vol, good upside/downside capture and a risk conscious management team with a flexible mandate. Thoughts? Anyone else investing in this fund?
According to M* in 2012 it changed from a Moderate Allocation fund to a Multi-sector bond fund. It is also a fund of funds and therefore quite expensive as these fund costs are passed through, especially when compared to such multi-sector bond funds as LSBRX for instance. I would follow Ted's advice.
I think it's a solid fund and probably a good alternative to PAUDX. It is an absolute return fund and a very conservative fund, so the expectation should be singles and doubles, but consistently.
