BAC Hits Another 52-Week High Today...Closed Up 6% In Two Days
Reply to @fundalarm: Ha! Doesn't everyone? Really just having light fun and not meant to offend. If it helps, I am equally transparent in posting when holdings (eg., MBIA, AQRIX, BOND) go the other way, which is more often the case!
But on a broader note, this thread goes back a long way, to when Fairholme's Bruce Berkowitz called the BAC play on WealthTrack. "If you had to recommend one stock?" Ms. Mack asks. Mr. Berkowitz responds: "It would have to be BAC..."

The financial I'm sorta interested in is Capital One (COF); they have done well fundamentally, but they took over the cafe operations from ING usa and people seem to LOVE them - free wifi, cheap coffee and snacks, slick spaces and an opportunity for Capital One to plug their products.
Given the continued rise in mobile banking and shrinking amounts of bank branches, maybe these cafes are a new way for banks to interact with customers - a loan and a latte.
