Latest CNBC follies: Rick Harris, of "Pawn Stars."
1. I like the show, although maybe a tad less than I used to. The problem I have with cable is that if "Pawn Stars" works, then there's "Cajun Pawn Stars" and a bunch of other shows like it. There's something like four "Storage Wars" versions.... Oh, and I haven't started watching CNBC again until recently and it really sucks worse than it did. It's just bleeping awful.
2. If they are going to interview about metals, they should have interviewed his father instead. His father is an enormous metals hoarder - there's an episode where they buy a massive silver bar and his eyes light up. They later made it into coins with the old mans face on it that say "In the Old Man We Trust".
3. It really wasn't a bad interview about the topic - that said, NOTHING compares with CNBC interviewing Chubby Checker about Operation Twist. THAT was just bad and awkward.

The Pawn Shop is selling the Old Man coin on Ebay and for a ridiculous premium.
