So, I just looked at EWJ, the iShares ETF. It's at a 52-week high on 12 January, '26. Much room left to run? Maybe get in before the expected snap-election? More recent performance numbers are better than the long-term numbers with EWJ. Surely, the election of Takaichi and her favored policies are connected. She's a stimulus-person, dove-ish, favoring stimulus ("debasement," in other words.)
