    So a railroad tunnel from no railhead to no railhead. Sure, that makes sense. (Assuming they'd take the shortest route under the Bering Sea, the Trans-Siberian is way south of where the tunnel would come out, and the nearest railhead on the U.S side is Fairbanks.)
  • ...To say nothing of the glaringly huge security considerations. Russia is a Mafia-ocracy, and Putin wants to dismember and destroy The West. The Orange regime is a kleptocracy and a kakistocracy. No ethics, no principles, no rule of law. Not much thought, period. Turning gov't into their own moneymaking machine, with no consideration for the protection of the American population from the KGB President of Russia. A tunnel connecting Siberia and Alaska is asymetrical sabotage dressed up to look like a great business opportunity. And when Orange Doink smells money.......
